"As far as my own albums go this one may be the one closest to the adjective minimalist. I continue to be intrigued by expressive, introspective moods. At the same time I am currently
drawn to sparsity in the audio. I am pleased with this sense of continuity and progression in my mode of creation.

The pieces came together over a longer stretch between early summer of 2017 and November 2018."
